September is the month to join the season extention...

Shareholders if you have not signed up and want to go for an extra 4 weeks of fall produce now is the time to let us know here at the farm.

Winter squash, leeks, sweet potatoes, potatoes, cabbage, swiss chard, onions, lettuce, pie pumkins, brussel sprouts and gourds are included in the extention.

Tomatoes, Tomatoes, Tomatoes!

Our shareholders got many different types of heirloom tomatoes this week. They included Garden Peach, Jubilee, Black Krim, Sunkist, Moskivich, Sun Dried and Yellow Perfection, along with thier Swiss Chard, Cucumbers, Eggplant, Summer Squash, Peppers and Okra.

Can't believe how much they have grown in just 6 weeks! Can't wait till they are 6 feet tall!

Madison..............

meet our new doeling. Madison is her name. She is a Boer Meat Goat. She loves the snow. Her long ears flop around when she runs. Faith is showing her the ropes.

Sweetie...........

I think I got a monster for a puppy! She is already attacking all of Kaylee's stuffed animals.

Emu eggs.............

Jodi and I are trying to hatch 3 Emu eggs! They weigh 1 and 1/2 pounds each! But are they not beautiful? It takes 52 days of constantly turning them and keeping the humidity and temperature just right! We'll update you on our progress with them. Wish us luck. How would you like one of them in your CSA box?
